SHIP U. Ladies’s swimming pronounces 2026-27 recruiting class

Shippensburg University head ladies’s swimming coach Andrew Hale introduced that 9 student-athletes have agreed to hitch the Raiders for the 2026-27 season.

The recruiting class consists of seven swimmers from Pennsylvania, one from Florida and one from Maryland.

The recruits are listed alphabetically:

Alexa Ducharme

Hometown/School: Dover, Pennsylvania/Homeschool

Ducharme competed for York YMCA Swimming underneath coach Michael Brooks. She was a 2026 YMCA state medalist and a two-time YMCA state qualifier.

She accomplished 31 dual-enrollment credit and maintained a 4.0 faculty and unweighted highschool GPA. She is a member of the Wodd Honors College.

Ducharme is the daughter of Stephen and Rande Ducharme and has one sibling, Ava.

Katherine Green

Maddy Juba

Kauffman earned 4 varsity letters at Shippensburg Area Senior High School underneath coaches Jonathan Hoffman and Deb Hoffman. She additionally competed for the Shippensburg Aquatic Club underneath Jonathan Hoffman.

She was a three-time district qualifier and a four-time Mid-Penn qualifier in two particular person occasions.
