Monona Police arrest swim coach on baby pornography costs

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Monona Police arrested a neighborhood swim coach on baby pornography costs, the division introduced on Thursday.

Carl D. Millholland, 72, was arrested on a number of felony counts of kid pornography, Monona Police mentioned.

Last week, the Monona Police Department (MOPD) acquired info via a CyberTip submitted to the WI DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation.

The investigation led MOPD officers to look a house within the 5100 block of Mesa Road.

The WI DOJ Digital Evidence staff assisted Monona Police with the identification and examination of the proof.

Investigators decided that a number of photos depicted baby pornography following a search warrant.

Millholland was taken to Dane County Jail.

During the investigation, MOPD realized Millholland labored as a non-public teacher and coach with youth packages.

MOPD has been in touch with the folks in these packages as a part of the investigation.

The investigation continues to be ongoing as MOPD is reviewing hundreds of photos and movies recovered. Police mentioned that MOPD is evaluating the potential applicability of federal regulation on this case and should seek the advice of with their federal regulation enforcement companions.

According to a 2024 WIAA Division 2 Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships qualifiers checklist, Millholland was listed as a coach for Monona Grove.
