Boyd School of Law on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas efficiently launched its inaugural Executive Certificate in Tribal Sovereignty & Economic Leadership this week, marking a major milestone of their dedication to advancing Tribal governance and financial growth schooling.

The three-day government certificates program was developed by a partnership between the Tribal Leadership Council and UNLV’s Indian Nations Gaming & Governance Program. The certificates brings collectively Tribal leaders, professionals, and material consultants for an intensive curriculum designed to strengthen management, governance, and financial growth capability throughout Indian Country.

Day One: Foundations in Law and Governance

The program opened with classes on Federal Indian Law, led by Professor Danielle Finn, adopted by a session on Tribal Governance offered by Dr. Crystal Miller and Jesse Downs. Eric S. Trevan, Ph.D., closed out the primary day with a session on Economics.

Day Two: Finance, Ethics, and Organizational Leadership
