OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Deputies are looking for the operator of a ship that struck a girl who was swimming in Pontiac Lake.
The crash occurred simply after 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 on the japanese a part of Pontiac Lake close to Walt’s Point Marina in White Lake Township.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, a 60-year-old Fenton girl was swimming in Pontiac Lake when she was struck by a passing boat. She was taken to an area hospital struggling accidents to her again and quite a few lacerations.
Investigators are looking for the boat’s operator. Witnesses described the vessel as a white speedboat or jet boat with darkish accent striping. The operator is described as a person between 50 and 60 years outdated.
