WTTC and WGS Launch New Period of Public-Personal Collaboration to Form the Future of Travel & Tourism

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and the World Governments Summit Organization (WGS), an initiative of the Prime Minister’s Office of the United Arab Emirates, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that marks a brand new period of public-private sector collaboration to form the way forward for Travel & Tourism.

By bringing collectively WTTC’s world community of personal sector leaders and the World Governments Summit’s distinctive convening energy amongst governments and policymakers, the partnership creates a platform for stronger cooperation on the important thing points influencing the sector’s long-term progress, resilience and competitiveness.

At a time when Travel & Tourism is navigating speedy technological transformation, sustainability imperatives, workforce challenges and evolving traveller expectations, the settlement will strengthen dialogue between governments and trade leaders to develop shared options, unlock new alternatives and help sustainable financial progress.

The partnership was formalised between Gloria Guevara, President & CEO of the WTTC, and Mohamed Al Sharhan, Managing Director of the WGS. It is endorsed by His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of the WGS, who performs a number one position in advancing the Summit’s imaginative and prescient to empower collaboration and form future-ready governments.
