GoodHeart | Spaces delivers on ‘Rebuild with Heart’ promise | Way of life

Last November, as Spaces Jamaica ready to mark its 18th anniversary, Hurricane Melissa devastated communities throughout western Jamaica, leaving numerous households displaced. Founder and Creative Director Janelle Pantry-Coke felt there was a duty to do greater than acknowledge the devastation. That response grew to become Rebuilding with Heart, an initiative centered on serving to affected households restore a way of consolation and dignity as they rebuild. On July 26, that dedication took form within the Strawberry group in Westmoreland, the place Spaces handed over 250 mattresses, together with bedding, to households affected by the hurricane.

The donation was made attainable by assist from Ashley Furniture Industries, which supplied the mattresses, whereas ECU Worldwide and Freight Handlers facilitated their transportation from the United States. The FLOW Foundation supplied monetary and logistical assist, whereas the Rotary Club of Savanna-la-Mar coordinated distribution and recognized households to obtain them.
