Landmark exhibition brings Sony World Photography Awards to South Africa

South Africans are in for a visible deal with as a curated model of one of many world’s most prestigious images competitions opens in Johannesburg.

In a first-of-its-kind occasion, the acclaimed Sony World Photography Awards exhibition might be seen on dwelling soil, hosted by the Roger Ballen Centre for Photography in Forest Town.

South Africa’s rising photographers are additionally being showcased with a concurrent exhibition titled New Eyes: The Roger Ballen Centre Photography Award.

The inaugural version options the work of D.M. Terblanche, Zwelibanzi Zwane and Karabo Mooki, which celebrates the variety and inventive vitality of South Africa’s rising photographic expertise.
