Fly-in to enjoyable on the Astoria Regional Airport’s open home

The Port of Astoria is celebrating yr three of their airport open home and fly-in occasion 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 22 on the Astoria Regional Airport, 422 Gateway Ave. Suite 100. The group occasion will showcase aviation-related actions together with static plane shows, interactive academic actions, army craft demonstrations, free introductory flights for youth. Attendees are inspired to decorate for coastal climate situations for each indoor and out of doors actions. Admission and parking are free. Entertainment & Activities:
  •   11 a.m. registration for Young Eagles Introductory Flights (Ages 8–17) with restricted spots accessible.
  •  Seth Howard of The Magic Shop in Astoria will present magic present; Five Star Henna will do face portray
  •  The Lower Columbia Radio Control Society could have airplane simulators and demonstrations on the bottom.
  •  Astoria Aviation’s scholar pilots will probably be accessible to help visitors with a flight simulator
  •  11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Life Flight’s mini helicopter automotive will give children brief rides across the occasion.
