NASA astronaut Christina Koch will go to North Carolina State University, her alma mater, this week.

Koch, who grew to become the primary lady to depart low Earth orbit and the primary lady to journey to and across the moon, will go to N.C. State on Aug. 24-25. The occasion is known as “Around the Moon and Pack Again.”

On Monday, the general public is invited to welcome Koch to Raleigh with a celebration at The Oval on Centennial
