FAMILY FUN DAY 2026

  It was a heat, sunny day, and roughly 220 people visited all through the day. The Town Council handed out 115 Backpacks with college provides, and the Town Events held a free raffle of 70+ giveaway toys, donated by Paige’s Kindness Project, Town Events and Ellendale Police Dept.

  There have been 15 distributors that have been comprised of informational tables, native companies and meals distributors out there. Local companies included CPR Delmarva holding CPR demonstrations and sharing availability of coaching scheduled, and Kirlin’s Mower & Golf Car Shop had a desk with data. The Ellendale Volunteer Fire Department introduced an engine and an ambulance for exploring. The Delaware State Police introduced the Crimestoppers station with video games for households to play collectively, and the helicopter made an look at midday. Beebe Community Outreach was out there for well being screenings and DE Fire School had a sales space with data.

DJ Paige Howell of Paige’s Kindness Project performed superior tunes all through the day and likewise had a sales space with giveaways. The kids and households beloved the Kidz Zone space and having the chance to go to stations and play on the playground.
