LEWISTON, Maine – Tom Jansen has joined the Bates College swimming and diving employees as an assistant coach and Aquatics & Pool Operation Manager, introduced in the present day by head coach Peter Casares.
Jansen arrives at Bates following two seasons as lead assistant coach for the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps swimming and diving applications, bringing collegiate teaching, recruiting and aquatics operations expertise to Lewiston. In addition to his teaching duties at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Jansen served as aquatics supervisor from 2025-26.
