Amazing images together with a polar bear peering down a gap in an ice sheet are among the many 100 photographs shortlisted for the 2026 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competitors.
The selected images have been picked out of greater than 65,000 entries from 121 international locations and territories, in keeping with organizers on the Natural History Museum in London, England, on Wednesday.
“Every year I think the entries to our competition can’t get any stronger… and every year I am proven wrong,” mentioned Kathy Moran, chair of the jury, in a press release.
