Felting Enjoyable (ages 8 and up)

Please be part of us for one or each of those fiber workshops! Wet felting and macramé intertwine in these workshops to create a harmonious match between two contrasting textures: the clear, geometric strains of the macramé knots and the delicate, natural type of the wool.

Parents and caregivers are invited to hitch with their youngsters; nevertheless, no grownup shall be permitted with out an accompanying youngster.

In this workshop younger artists will discover the magic of moist felting wool beads as they transition by means of three distinct phases: the unfastened section (fluffy and fragile), the medium section (squishy however holding form) and the exhausting section (dense, rock-like, and sturdy). Loraleh Harris has been a educating artist for greater than 25 years. She is a fiber artist, specializing in batik and shibori with pure fibers, and proprietor of an artwork gallery. A lifelong working artist, she continues to create and educate artwork every time the chance arises. Her house is in Calais, located amongst the maples, in a 165 sq. foot tiny home along with her canine Ellis.
