Hokies announce 2026-27 schedule – Virginia Tech Athletics

The Hokies’ first look on the Christiansburg Aquatic Center shall be for the annual preseason intrasquad Hokie Belt Challenge (Sept. 19-20)  Following the Hokie Belt Challenge, the squad will formally kick off the season towards Penn State, Liberty and West Virginia at house (Oct. 2-3). 

Tech then heads to Dallas, Texas, to compete on the SMU Invitational (Oct. 9-10). The Hokies proceed competitors in Charlotte, N.C., to tackle Queens and Florida Gulf Coast (Oct. 23), earlier than heading straight to Durham, N.C., to compete towards Duke (Oct. 24). Closing out a busy October, the squad travels to Westmont, Ill., to compete on the USA Swimming SCM Worlds Trials (Oct. 28-31).

The Hokies return house to face North Carolina (Nov. 5). After a two-week break, the diving crew travels to Columbus, Ohio, for the Ohio State Invitational (Nov. 18-20), whereas the swim crew heads to Greensboro, NC, for the NC State Invitational (Nov. 18-21). The squads then journey to Austin, TX, for the U.S. Open (Dec. 2-5).

The Hokies kick off the brand new 12 months by dealing with rival Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. (Jan. 16). Tech returns house for a meet towards NC State (Jan. 23), intently adopted by the Virginia Tech Invitational (Jan. 29-31).

Tech makes its second journey to Greensboro, N.C., for the ACC Championships (Feb. 16-20). Following this, the Hokies compete in a Last Chance Meet (February 26-27).

To shut out the season, the Hokies take part in one other Last Chance Meet (March 5-6), with each places but to be decided. Continuing postseason competitors, the diving crew will journey to Morgantown, W, Va., for the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships (March 8-10). The girls’s crew will then return to Austin, Texas, for the Women’s NCAA Championships (March 17-20), adopted by the boys’s crew for the Men’s NCAA Championships (March 24-27).
