9 from Males’s Swimming named to U.S. National Team roster

AUSTIN, Texas — A complete of 9 present and former University of Texas males’s swimmers have been named to the 2026-27 U.S. National Team roster, USA Swimming introduced Tuesday.

Six present Longhorns have been chosen to Team USA, together with freshman Rowan Cox, senior Nate Germonprez, sophomore Aiden Hammer, senior Rex Maurer, sophomore Campbell McKean and senior Will Modglin. In addition, former Longhorns Carson Foster, Chris Giuliano and Luke Hobson have been additionally chosen to the U.S. National Team roster.

Cox was chosen to compete within the 100 butterfly, and Germonprez was tabbed to compete within the 100 breaststroke. Hammer was chosen to compete within the open water occasion, whereas Maurer was chosen to compete within the 400 freestyle, 200 particular person medley and 400 particular person medley. McKean was chosen to compete within the 50 and 100 breaststroke, and Modglin was tabbed to compete within the 50 and 100 backstroke.
