According to their report, there have been 23% more Labor Day travel searches since last year, across the country.

Edisto Island ranked 7th in the rankings, meaning it had the 7th-largest percentage increase in Labor Day travel searches since last year. According to the report, there were 153% more holiday travel searches than last year.
The coastal area is an underrated gem in the Palmetto State, with beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants, and a laid-back environment. It’s the perfect place for an extended weekend trip, where families and friends can take a sunset cruise, visit secluded beaches, and explore the area’s unique landmarks.

Beaufort is another trending travel destination that has seen a surge in interest since last year, ranking 15th in the country. There have been 57% more Labor Day travel searches for the coastal city compared to last year.
People love SC beaches, but Beaufort has something special that is driving this increasing attention. For Labor Day activities, you can go fishing to your heart’s content, explore the local art centers, spend the weekend at one of their charming campsites, or just enjoy a lazy afternoon on one of their beaches.
