Golf Fun League Week 16

With the temperature within the 60-70s, the sky partly cloudy and only a slight breeze, 14 keen golfers confirmed up at Meadowview Golf Course for the weekly Tuesday Golf Fun League. The course as all the time was in wonderful situation. Three groups have been shaped with assigned captains being Kert Boie, John Boss and Scott Jalling. The remaining crew members have been chosen via a card draw with Lori Jalling included as a part of Scott’s crew. This week’s sport format was Step-Aside Scramble. In this format all gamers hit their shot with the perfect shot being chosen. The participant that hits that shot steps apart for the subsequent shot. No participant hits two consecutive photographs. The competitors was comparatively shut because the groups completed up with rounds of 36, 35 and 31. Kert Boie’s crew consisting of Ev Rhyner, LeRoy Wellman and Bob Arimura shot an outstanding spherical of 31 to win the first place grand prize. Al Lulloff’s shot on gap #2 was closest to the pin and LeRoy Wellman made the longest putt on gap #9. The Fun League is a weekly occasion held at Meadowview Golf Course in the course of the spring, summer season, and fall. Each week, a unique model of the Scramble format is performed, making certain that everybody will get a contemporary and thrilling expertise.
