BELLEVUE/RENTON – Travelers ought to plan for a weekend closure of northbound Interstate 405 in Bellevue and Renton and the I-405/Northeast eighty fifth Street interchange in Kirkland from Friday, Aug. 7 to Monday, Aug. 10.

Northbound I-405 closure particulars

Northbound I-405 will shut from North Southport Drive/Northeast Sunset Boulevard to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 11:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 to 4 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10. A signed detour will probably be in place.

• Northbound I-405 off-ramp to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast (Exit 10)

The Coal Creek Parkway Southeast on-ramp to northbound I-405 will stay open.

Crews will excavate drainage crossings and full full pavement replacements and a site visitors change on northbound I-405 as a part of the I-405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project.

I-405/Northeast eighty fifth Street interchange closures in Kirkland

The northbound and southbound I-405 on- and off-ramps (Exit 18) and Northeast eighty fifth Street from Sixth Street to one hundred and twentieth Avenue Northeast will shut:

• 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5 to five a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6
• 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 to five a.m. Monday, Aug. 10

Signed detours will probably be in place. Crews will shift the work zone for the roundabout on the 114th Avenue Northeast intersection on Wednesday night time as a part of the I-405/Northeast 85th Street Interchange and Inline BRT Station Project. Over the weekend, crews will grade pavement on Northeast eighty fifth Street and set up drainage.
