Misericordia University: Head Coach MW Swimming/Aquatics Director

Position Overview:  

The Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Swimming is liable for the management, administration, and general operation of the swimming program. Responsibilities embody recruiting and retaining student-athletes, teaching and ability growth, finances administration, scheduling, gear and facility oversight, compliance with NCAA and convention rules, student-athlete welfare, and selling the mission and values of Misericordia University.

In addition, the place serves as Aquatics Director and is liable for the every day operation, administration, programming, staffing, upkeep, and security of the Anderson Center swimming pool and associated aquatics actions.  Will function the educator/coach for obligatory CPR/AED coaching of athletics employees. 

Education:

Experience:

• One to 2 years earlier teaching expertise and/or coaching and aggressive background indicative of the flexibility to teach efficiently in a NCAA Division III liberal arts school atmosphere.  

• Prior profitable expertise in aquatics administration

Work-Related Knowledge: 

• Working data of the NCAA guidelines and rules.

• Knowledge in planning, organizing, and implementing aquatics applications.

• Working data of swimming pool filters, mechanical techniques and the usage of chemical compounds for swimming pool and water chemistry.
