25 years in the past on September 11, an iconic {photograph} captured Tim Duffy, a New York City Fire Department (FDNY) firefighter and U.S. Navy Veteran, navigating his Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport by the rubble of the South Tower as he made his option to Ground Zero to assist in the aftermath of the 9/11 assaults. In the times and months that adopted, Tim continued using his Dyna to Ground Zero to help within the rescue, restoration, and cleanup efforts. Over the years, Tim and his Dyna grew to become symbols of resilience, service and the enduring spirit of those that answered the decision when their nation wanted them most. After a severe accident threatened to finish their journey collectively, Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Old School Harley-Davidson in Ellington, Connecticut obtained the motorbike in 2024 and commenced a two-year effort to revive the motorbike to its authentic glory so Tim might at some point experience it once more. Today, on the twenty fifth anniversary of the 9/11 assaults, we’re honored to share a narrative of remembrance, restoration and rebuilding.
