Herd Volleyball Travels to EKU for Contest on Tuesday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball Team (5-3) stays on the highway for a contest in Richmond, Kentucky, because it faces the EKU Colonels on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

PRE-MATCH NOTES

• The Herd fell in a pair of contests in Durham, North Carolina, final weekend struggling defeats to Duke and Belmont.
• Marshall leads the Sun Belt Conference with a .284 hitting share and 13.79 assists per set whereas rating second with 17.76 factors per set
• Marae Reilly leads the SBC with a .448 hitting share as Kahea Carvalho ranks fourth in assists per set at 7.69.

 
SCOUTING EKU

• The Colonels come into Tuesday 6-2 after a 2-1 weekend on the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with wins over James Madison and WKU.
• Emilee Hill does all of it for EKU as she leads the group in factors (115.5), assists (205) and repair aces (10) as she sits second in kills (94) by way of eight matches.
