Man locked up for throwing rocks at geese, pulling knife on swimmers at Oregon park

OREGON CITY Ore. (KPTV) – A 36-year-old man was sentenced Monday to just about three years in jail after throwing rocks at geese and river bathers earlier than threatening a swimmer with a knife at a neighborhood park.

Antonio Joseph Marion White was sentenced to 35 months behind bars following his conviction final week in Clackamas County Circuit Court for illegal use of a weapon, menacing, and second-degree disorderly conduct, in keeping with prosecutors.

The fees stem from a May 16 incident at Riverside Park alongside the Clackamas River. Authorities stated White was on the park along with his father and brother when the 2 brothers started throwing rocks at a flock of geese.

A member of a cold-plunge swimming group referred to as the Happy Hippie Dippies requested the boys to cease. An argument broke out, and White and his brother started hurling stones towards the swimmers within the river.

Prosecutors stated White then walked to his automobile, grabbed a knife, and threatened the swimmers. White’s father and brother held him again because the swimmer drew a handgun and warned White he held a hid carry allow. Another swimmer referred to as 911.

White drove away from the world however sheriff’s deputies arrested him later that day at one other river park. He advised deputies he threw rocks on the birds as a result of he had post-traumatic stress dysfunction from a previous goose assault.

White has 11 prior assault convictions in Clark County, Washington, together with earlier convictions for theft and little one molestation.
