White House Pokes Enjoyable At Travis Kelce Being Named In $35 Million Fraud Scheme

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was publicly called out by the White House this week.

TMZ reported Tuesday that Kelce was named in federal court as one of several victims who was tricked by Siddharth Jawahar. It was revealed that Jawahar took more than $35 million from investors.

“According to the feds, Jawahar ran Swiftarc Capital LLC and funneled nearly all of his clients’ money into one investment — Philip Morris Pakistan. When that bet went south, prosecutors say Jawahar lied to investors about how their money was performing … while using new investor cash to pay earlier clients,” TMZ reported. “The feds say he also lived large on the money, splurging on private jets, luxury hotels, restaurants, shopping and pricey apartments.”

Shortly after Kelce was named in this massive Ponzi scheme, the official X account for the White House cracked a joke about him.

“This is why we do what we do. Seems like a good time to re-up the work of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud: identifying fraud & protecting Americans,” the White House wrote on social media. “Oh and it looks like the next draft pick to join the Task Force is @tkelce!”

Did Kelce lose significant money?

Kelce hasn’t responded to the White House’s social media post. He’s preparing for a Week 2 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. The future Hall of Famer kicked off his 2026 season with a 71-yard performance on “Monday Night Football” against the Denver Broncos.

It’s unclear how much money Kelce lost to Jawahar. For what it’s worth, he has earned $123 million from his contracts with the Chiefs.

We’ll see if reporters ask Kelce about this situation after Sunday’s game.
