BG Parks and Recreation 2026 Halloweekend of Fun • Bowling Green, OH

The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department welcomes all little goblins and ghouls for its 2026 Halloweekend of Fun. Families will take pleasure in a weekend of actions celebrating all issues spooky and playful within the parks Oct. 23-25. Each session is free to the general public; no registration is required.   

Frightful Friday Family Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt | Oct. 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m.  

Grab a flashlight and your favourite costume to take a stroll in Wintergarden Nature Preserve. Explore the three/4-mile path whereas looking for fun-themed pumpkins scattered alongside the trail and luxuriate in some candy treats alongside the way in which. Participants can drop in at any time throughout the occasion, however please observe that there shall be no path departures after 7:30 p.m. 

Rocktober Saturday Family Nerf & Game Night | Oct. 24, 5:30-7 p.m.  

Level up on the BG Community Center for the third annual Rocktober Family Nerf & Game Night occasion. Dress up and luxuriate in Nerf wars within the gymnasium, enjoyable video games within the Play Zone room and music. All Nerf tools and protecting eyewear are offered. Participants is not going to be allowed to play with out the correct eyewear, and outdoors Nerf objects or darts are prohibited. Unaccompanied adults, teenagers, or minors is not going to be permitted.  

Sunday Funday Needle Hall-o-Ween Crafts | Oct. 25, 3-5 p.m.  

Get spooky and artful at Needle Hall in City Park. Free and enjoyable Halloween-themed household arts and crafts shall be offered. Participants will take pleasure in making lollipop ghosts, Jack-o-Lantern potato stamps, paper bag monsters, hidden ghost Halloween work, Q-Tip Skeletons, handprint spiders and fingerprint bats.
