Swimming & Diving Unveils 2026-27 Meet Schedule

HOUSTON – The Houston Swimming & Diving staff unveiled its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The slate options six dwelling meets together with twin meets in opposition to North Texas, Kansas and Rice.

Houston begins its season heading west to Fresno, Calif., for a twin meet in opposition to Fresno State on Oct. 16-17.

Following a two-week hiatus, the Cougars return to Houston to host its first dwelling meet of the season on Oct. 30-31 versus North Texas.

The subsequent week, Houston hosts its solely tri meet of the 12 months inviting a pair of American Conference opponents, Tulane and Rice, to the CRWC Natatorium in a tri-meet on Nov. 6.

The Cougars host their annual Phill Hansel Invitational, working from Nov. 17-20.

To shut the autumn slate, Houston hosts a twin meet in opposition to Kansas (Dec. 5). Concurrently, the U.S Open Championships held from Dec. 2-5 in Austin, Texas is open for swimmers that qualify to enter.

Following the winter break, Houston dives again into motion, internet hosting the Big 12 East Showdown. The Cougars welcome Iowa State, Cincinnati, West Virginia and TCU on Jan. 16-17 for a preview of the Big 12 Championships.

Houston concludes its common season internet hosting their ultimate twin meet of the season in opposition to cross-town rival, Rice, on Jan. 30.

The Big 12 Conference Championship runs from Feb. 23-27 in Greensboro, N.C.

The divers that qualify will head to Austin, Texas for NCAA Diving Zones working from March 8-10.


For the swimmers and divers that qualify, the postseason finishes with the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships hosted in Austin from March 17-20.
