Freshman Justice Carlton scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds, leading No. 6 Texas to a decisive 103-57 victory over South Dakota State on Sunday.

Carlton achieved 8 of 12 from the field in 25 minutes off the bench. Taylor Jones contributed 15 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks, while Rori Harmon added 13 points, seven assists, and six steals for Texas (12-1).

Another freshman, Jordan Lee, recorded her second start for Texas this season, tallying 14 points.

Brooklyn Meyer was the top scorer for South Dakota State (10-3) with 13 points in only 18 minutes due to foul issues. Emilee Fox also added 11 points.

Texas seized control of the game with a 19-2 run spanning the first and second quarters, during which South Dakota State went without a score for over six minutes.
