Vili Sivec Shatters Records Again: Celebrated as Athlete of the Week for an Unprecedented Fourth Time!

All-Time Big West Weekly Awards Recipients>>>

• Vili Sivec excelled once more for Cal State Bakersfield, this time across two conference duals earning The Big West’s Men’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week honor for an unmatched fourth time this season (Oct. 15, Nov. 12, Dec. 10).

• The native of Zabok, Croatia secured three first place finishes in the 200 Fly (1:49.28; winning by 3 seconds), 100 Fly (48.91), and 100 Free (45.52) during competition against UC Santa Barbara. Following that, another Big West meet took place on Saturday against UC San Diego where Sivec reduced his times in all three events, ultimately achieving three additional victories (1:47.35; winning by 4 seconds / 48.44 / 45.18).

• Sivec additionally contributed to CSUB’s win in the 400-Free Relay with a 45.33 leadoff swim.
