Exciting 2025 Lacrosse Lineup Unveiled for Men’s Team!

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Head coach John Tillman has revealed the Maryland men’s lacrosse program’s 2025 schedule. The Terps will compete in another demanding lineup, with seven of 12 regular season matches against teams that participated in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

This will signify the 100th season of Maryland men’s lacrosse. 

Eleven of Maryland’s 12 adversaries are those the Terps encountered last season. Additionally, the Terps are set to face two teams that reached the 2024 Final Four, namely Notre Dame and Virginia.  

The Terrapins kick off the season at home against Richmond on Feb. 1, marking the third consecutive year the Terps and Spiders compete in the season opener. The following Saturday, Maryland will hit the road for the first time, traveling to Baltimore to take on Loyola on Feb. 8. 

Maryland will host Syracuse on Feb. 15, before returning to the road on Feb. 22 to play at Princeton. 

Next, the Terps will engage in the first game in Atlanta, GA in program history as part of the Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational. This will be a rematch from the National Championship and a confrontation between the National Champions from the last three years, as the Terps will clash with Notre Dame at Bobby Dodd Stadium.   

Following that, the Terps will return to College Park to host Delaware, the only new opponent on the schedule, on March 8, before concluding non-conference play against 2024 Final Four rival Virginia in Charlottesville on March 15.  

Maryland commences its Big Ten schedule with a duo of home matches at SECU Stadium against Michigan on March 22 and against Penn State on March 29. 

The Terps will then participate in a couple of road conference games at Rutgers on April 5 and at Ohio State on April 12, concluding the regular season against rival Johns Hopkins on Friday, April 19 at SECU Stadium.
