Meghan Markle’s Lifestyle Show May Hit Pause on Netflix: What’s Next?

Reports indicate that Netflix is encountering unexpected hurdles that may delay the premiere of Meghan Markle’s much-anticipated lifestyle series.

The Duchess of Sussex’s eagerly awaited series With Love, Meghan is set to debut this week on January 15, however, analysts have pointed out that due to its timing, coinciding with raging wildfires, the release may be postponed.

This series is a component of the Sussexes’ $100 million (£80 million) arrangement with Netflix, coming at a time when the devastating wildfires are causing widespread devastation.

Experts suggest that Netflix should consider postponing the broadcast of Meghan’s program.

UK branding and culture specialist Nick Ede shared with Mail Online, “I believe Netflix executives will need to make significant decisions regarding whether to air ‘With Love, Meghan’ in the coming week.”

The public relations expert elaborated, “Given that the show is heavily focused on California living, notably Los Angeles and Montecito, showcasing aspirational and inspirational lifestyles, I suspect it will be removed from its current timetable and delayed for several months at least.”

Moreover, he emphasized that airing such a program during a “tragic and challenging” time would be deemed “insensitive and tone-deaf.”

Nick noted that With Love, Meghan could potentially premiere at a later date, as its content is not inherently time-sensitive.
