Logitech Unveils MX Creative Console: The Ultimate Tool for Visual Storytellers

Logitech has been manufacturing computer accessories for more than 40 years, including the world’s first wireless mouse debuted in 1984.

One of its most recent releases is the MX Creative Console – a highly adaptable productivity device featuring a keypad and dialpad that can be customized by users to meet their specific requirements. This new product targets creative professionals across various fields and software, such as photographers, video editors, graphic designers, and more. It’s “engineered to assist individuals in redefining their workflow, allowing them to operate more efficiently and effectively,” as noted by Logitech’s Anatoliy Polyanker, who remarked that the brand is “leveraging crucial trends in democratizing digital creation, 3D design, spatial computing, and AI-driven workflows.”

Logitech has collaborated with Adobe to guarantee that the brand’s assortment of creative software, which includes Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator, is fully supported. Additionally, other applications such as Spotify, Apple Music, Ableton Live, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and more are also compatible.

The keypad on the MX Creative Console consists of 11 face buttons, with nine of them being assignable to specific functions within various applications. These buttons illustrate the selected tool through both an icon and text, a setup that assists in engaging users swiftly. Furthermore, both the icons and the text are automatically updated when users change a button’s function to another tool, eliminating any need for manual adjustments. The remaining two buttons on the keypad feature simple left and right arrows, enabling users to toggle between up to 15 pages of configurations or 135 distinct actions. Configuring the keypad is straightforward, requiring only the dragging and dropping of desired tools or actions via the associated Logi Options+ application.

Conversely, the dialpad comprises only four buttons along with a “fluid roller” and “contextual dial.” The four designated buttons facilitate back, forward, left, and right movements, while the roller allows navigation or zooming in and out, similar to scrolling on a standard mouse.

The Logitech MX Creative Console is currently available in two shades, Pale Grey and Graphite, priced at £199.99 GBP / $199.99 USD.
