HOPEWELL, N.J. – Ball State senior guard Ally Becki has received national acclaim as she has been selected for the 2025 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Watch List, announced this morning by Her Hoops Stats.

Becki stands fifth nationally in triple doubles, 15th in assists (91) and 17th in assists per game (5.7). Additionally, Becki tops the MAC in four distinct categories: assist/turnover ratio (2.33), assists (91), assists per game (5.7), and triple doubles (1).

Recently, Becki was honored as MAC Player of the Week for the eighth time in her career on January 7, following an average of 21.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 3.0 steals while shooting 56 percent (13-23) from the field and perfect 13-13 from the free-throw line in victories against Miami and Central Michigan.

Before the season commenced, Becki received MAC postseason honors for the third consecutive year.

Becki recorded her inaugural triple double on November 13, 2024, versus Memphis, with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. This marked the first triple double by a Ball State women’s basketball player since at least 2010 when the NCAA began tracking triple double statistics. Becki ranks fifth in the nation for triple doubles and first in the MAC.

She currently occupies the 11th position on Ball State’s all-time scoring list (1,419 pts), third in assists (596), and 17th in rebounds (635).

This year’s midseason list showcases players from 15 teams across 10 conferences. Five conferences – the A-10, MEAC, Mountain West, Missouri Valley, and Summit League – featured two athletes on the watch list. Gonzaga’s Yvonne Ejim is the third player to appear on three midseason watch lists, joining Dyaisha Fair and Katelyn Young. All statistics pertain only to games against Division I opponents unless stated otherwise.
