Capture the Chill: Join the Winter Photography Challenge at BackYard Chickens!

Winter signifies various things to different individuals. It could mean cozying up next to a crackling fire bundled in blankets, enjoying warm drinks with loved ones, fresh snow for skiing, or perhaps lounging on the beach soaking in the rays. Illustrate to us what winter embodies for you! Get imaginative and have a chance to win a prize! This contest does not pertain to images of chickens or other domestic birds—if you have winter-themed shots of your avian companions, kindly submit them HERE.

How to participate:
Entering is straightforward; simply respond to this thread with images of your winter-themed photographs.

To enhance your likelihood of winning, please review the guidelines prior to entering.

Guidelines:
Each member may submit up to four entries. Please limit to one image per post.

1. Each member may submit up to four entries. Please limit to one image per post.
2. An entry consists of one winter-themed photograph.
3. No domestic birds permitted. Images of domestic birds may be entered in the Winter on the Farm Photo Contest.
4. Photos that are resized might be disqualified if deemed too small for evaluation.
5. No screenshots, watermarks, date markings, texts, etc., are allowed on the image. No collages.
6. The image must have been taken by the submitter.
7. You cannot submit an image that has previously won an award in another BYC-sponsored competition.
8. Images of high quality are advised. Basic edits like cropping and other slight modifications are permitted.
9. ALL images MUST be uploaded to BYC and not linked from other image platforms, personal websites, etc.
10. Prizes are confined to one per individual per contest.
11. All BYC regulations apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
12. Entries will be accepted until February 28th, 2025, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
