Register, and is not a substitute for the official printed edition or the authentic
electronic edition on GPO’s govinfo.gov.

The files available on this site are XML representations of published Federal
Register documents. Each document featured on the site contains a link to the
respective official PDF file on govinfo.gov. This prototype version of the
daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov will remain an unofficial
informational resource until the Administrative Committee of the Federal
Register (ACFR) issues a regulation granting it formal legal status.

Federal Register as an ACFR-approved publication in the future. Although every effort has been made to guarantee that
the content on FederalRegister.gov is displayed accurately, in line with
the official SGML-based PDF version on govinfo.gov, those using it for
legal research should verify their findings against an authorized edition of
the Federal Register. Until the ACFR grants it official recognition, the XML
version of the daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov does not provide
legal notice to the public or judicial notice to the courts.
