Maternity Magic: Capturing the First Moments with Baby M by Edmond’s Top Newborn Photographer

Thrilled today to present this recent session of newborn photography in Edmond, OK.

I enjoyed capturing images of this young lad and his family. Newborn sessions involving siblings are always quite the journey. Visiting a family’s residence during this meaningful period is a privilege I hold dear. When siblings are present, it’s always heartwarming to witness how they engage and express affection towards the new little member of their family. One aspect I focus on is preparing families ahead of time so that they can approach the session with awareness of what to anticipate and encouraging them to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. After all, we all perform better when at ease!

This mother expressed some lovely sentiments following the session – “Charis was incredibly gracious and thoughtful before, during & after our photography session. We were amazed by how meticulous she was in offering additional resources on how to prepare for the session, as well as giving suggestions on how to print and utilize our gallery afterward. Extremely insightful.

Her tranquil demeanor made our session quite delightful. It felt as if we were merely enjoying family time. My husband continues to comment on how impressed he is with our photographs. I believe this was due to her ability to relieve the tension, creating a relaxed environment in our own home. I cherish hearing him express this because he is typically not one to emphasize the importance of professional photography.

Our children felt particularly valued when she presented them with a special gift too!”

Arrangements for a calm newborn session

Each family that opts to book a newborn session with me receives individualized advice on what to wear, how to prepare your home, and more. I enjoy making phone calls if that will help ease a mother’s worries as well as checking in periodically throughout the process. My goal is for every family to feel ready and supported during this entire experience. It also now entails offering printed products along with a straightforward method for families to order, while I handle the details. I recognize that these early days are filled with myriad responsibilities and I want the newborn session to be seamless and stress-free.
