“KK Ream Joins the Ranks of U.S. U-16 Women’s National Team!”

HERRIMAN, Utah (Wednesday, January 21) – Forward KK Ream of Utah Royals FC has been summoned by the U.S. U-16 Women’s Youth National Team for the forthcoming Domestic Identity Camp. This camp is scheduled to take place from January 26th to February 2nd in Chula Vista, California, under the guidance of Head Coach Ciara Crinion.

The head coach of the U.S. U-16 GNT, Ciara Crinion, has additionally selected 24 players, with 23 players born in 2009 and one midfielder, Loradana Paletta, born in 2011. Paletta was the youngest participant on the USA’s victorious 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship team. All U-16 players are eligible for selection to the Concacaf World Cup qualifying team, leading to a potential World Cup appearance in Morocco.

Ream was most recently named to the U-16 squad in November 2024 during a domestic training camp conducted in Chula Vista, and she has previously represented the United States at the U-15 level, clinching the League A U-15 CONCACAF Championship in 2024. This victory marked the fourth consecutive triumph for the United States U-15 Girls’ National Team at the CONCACAF Championship. Ream scored a crucial penalty in the shootout win against Canada during the Semi-Final.

Ten athletes participating in the U.S. U-16 GNT were instrumental in securing the USA’s triumph at the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship, which includes forwards Carolina Reyna and Maddie DiMaria, midfielders Mia Corona, Caroline Swann, and Bristol Kersh, along with defender Meila Brewer. These players collectively netted 12 goals throughout the tournament, with Reyna leading the team with six goals.
