King Joins Utah Swimming and Diving Employees

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah swimming and diving head coach Jonas Persson has introduced on McKay King as this system’s latest volunteer assistant coach.

King swam for the Utes throughout the 2016-17 season, incomes Pac-12 all-academic crew honors, and can now give his time teaching at his alma mater.

“McKay is a great person and a great coach,” Persson stated. “He is very detail-oriented and smart. Having a coach on staff that also swam at Utah and loves the program is an advantage that is unbeatable. I can’t wait to have him start, get to know the team, and make us better!”

King spent final season because the affiliate head coach at American Fork High School, serving to lead the boy’s crew to the 5A state title. He coached his alma mater to 6 crew titles and two state data in his first season on the helm.
