GOVERNOR GREEN TO TRAVEL TO EAST COAST AND ITALY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HONOLULU –  Governor Josh Green, M.D., and his household will journey to the East Coast on Sunday, August 24, as they take their daughter to the beginning of her first semester of school.

Subsequently, Governor Green will journey to Italy on August 29 for official enterprise in his capability because the president of the Council of State Governments. He will take part in conferences with different notable leaders from the Italian authorities and can go to the Vatican City State to alternate greetings with His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV. Governor Green plans to increase a private invitation to the Pope to go to Kalaupapa on Moloka‘i. The Governor is scheduled to return to Hawai‘i on Sunday, September 7.

Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke will function performing Governor from the afternoon of August 24 till the morning of September 6. Attorney General Anne Lopez will function performing Governor from the morning of September 6 till the afternoon of September 7.
