Cross Country Set to Open Season at Florida Intercollegiate Invite

The Gators discover themselves on the Florida Invitational for the primary time since 2018, after it was canceled through the 2023 season. The Orange and Blue took dwelling a primary place end within the Women’s 3k and a second place end within the Men’s 5k.

This would be the first of three common season meets, because the Gators look to maintain their excessive placement from the preseason polls. The USTFCCCA projected the ladies’s staff to complete eleventh within the nation, because the SEC gave them a second place nod. The males’s staff was given a USTFCCCA Regional recognition within the seventh place spot with an eleventh place projection within the SEC.

The Women’s 5k will start at 7:00 p.m., with the Men’s 8k following at 7:30 p.m. Live outcomes for Friday’s meet might be discovered here.

Six males and 5 girls will take the course on Friday night, with two males and one girl making their Gators Cross Country debut.
