Women’s group enjoys Fun Day at Tannenhauf

Members of the Tannenhauf Women’s Golf Association celebrated a latest Fun Day on the Lexington Township course.

Theme for the Aug. 14 occasion was “Red, White & Birdie!” It was a becoming theme for the golf format referred to as “COLORAMMA.” Each participant was assigned a coloration and performed their very own ball. The particular person scores have been recorded on the higher a part of the rating card. Each flag on the greens had a coloured star pinned to the flag which revealed which rating to file for the “team.”

Hole 14 was a group technique, with every participant deciding on one membership to play your entire gap.

First place went to the group with Nancy Polosky, Kathy Burtscher, Debbie Wood and Connie Poto, with a rating of 44. Each successful group member obtained a $20 present card to the Tannenhauf Golf Course. Members of the final place group, Loretta Crosser, Sue Snode, Kathy Stroia and Mary Kay Kunar, obtained $10 present playing cards to the Tannenhauf Golf Course.

Closest to the pin #11 – Jenny Skolosh (Flight A, nearly a gap in a single); Debbie Wood (Flight B); Janet Howard (Flight C); and Mary Kay Kunar (Flight D).

Longest second shot #16 – Nancy Polosky (Flight A); Suzanne Bergert (Flight B); Kathy Stroia (Flight C) and Erma Hastings (Flight D).

Longest putt #18 – Jenny Skolosh (Flight A); Martha Palmer (Flight B); Jeani Zaluski (Flight C); and Connie Poto (Flight D).

Each participant obtained a golf membership brush that attaches to a golf bag.
