Audenge, residence to Europe’s largest seawater swimming pool

A concrete pool, with no tiling, mosaics, diving boards or scent of chlorine. This massive rectangle of water – a strip 170 meters lengthy by 17 meters extensive, divided into three basins starting from 30 centimeters to 1.90 meters deep – is fed by the tide and is about in a magical atmosphere on the japanese shore of the Arcachon Basin on France’s southwestern coast, close to Bordeaux, inside the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park.
