STORRS, Conn. –  The UConn ladies’s area hockey workforce is again in motion as they hit the street for the weekend. The Huskies can have their first BIG EAST motion as they tackle Villanova Friday September 19, earlier than closing out the street journey with a matchup towards Princeton University.

The Huskies enter the matchup with a 2-3 general file. The Huskies are coming off an 0-2 weekend as they fell to no.18 Rutgers in OT and no.8 Harvard in regulation. The Huskies are averaging two objectives per sport with 11 photographs per sport. UConn holds the general collection file 37-7 with the newest matchup being a 5-0 shutout in favor of UConn.

Villanova enters the matchup with a 1-4 general file. Villanova is coming off a 1-1 weekend with their lone win coming towards La Salle by a closing of 3-0. The matchup towards the Huskies would be the first BIG EAST motion for the Wildcats.

Following the matchup with the Wildcats, the Huskies will journey to tackle Princeton University Sunday Sept. 21. Princeton enters the matchup posting a 2-2 general file and can face off towards Penn earlier than welcoming UConn to campus.
