Buckeyes Return to Motion at Gans Creek Classic

COLUMBUS, Ohio –The Ohio State males’s and girls’s cross nation groups raced within the Gans Creek Classic hosted by Missouri Friday in Columbia, Mo. The Buckeye males ran within the Black and Open races, with the ladies within the Gold and Black races. Kevin Agnew recorded his third straight Top 10 end to guide the lads and Aniya Mosley was first for the ladies.

“I was impressed with our men’s team across the board. Kevin did a great job leading our group and I thought we ran a very disciplined race.

“It was nice to have Aniya again within the lineup and she’s going to solely proceed to enhance every week. For a whole lot of our ladies this was the primary time of their careers they’ve been in a race of this high quality and depth.

“We look forward to the next block of training and the opportunity to test ourselves against a quality field at Texas A&M.”

 

The Buckeye Men (8K)

• In the Black race, the Buckeyes had been second with 112 factors, behind UCLA (86 factors).
• Kevin Agnew led Ohio State for the third straight race, with Top 10 finishes in all three outings.
• Weston Day and Liam Shaughnessy had been thirteenth and 14th, respectively, with Shaughnessy working an 8K private greatest.
• Connor Long and Colby Adams closed out the Buckeye counters and had been within the Top 70.
• Andrew Rohde, in an Ohio State private greatest, Noah Sharp and Chance Basilone accomplished the Buckeye lineup within the race.
• In the lads’s Open race, Keegan Souhan and Coln Cernansky completed within the Top 20 and had been joined by Will McGraw and Zach Zielke within the race.

• The Buckeyes wrap up the common season at Texas A&M Oct. 17.
• Michigan State will host the Big Ten Championships Nov. 3.
• The NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships can be held in Evansville, Ind., Nov. 14 and the NCAA Championships can be in Columbia, Mo., Nov. 22.
