Paul Evered, Library Service Delivery Manager at Cornwall Council, stated:

“The Summer months are the busiest time of year for our library staff. They did an amazing job in supporting and encouraging children to take part in the challenge and hosted some really creative activities for families throughout the summer.
“It’s brilliant that so many children embraced this year’s challenge and we hope they will continue visiting their local libraries to enjoy more books and take part in events and activities.”

Cornwall Council gives books, IT providers and on-line assets to all libraries throughout the Duchy via the Cornwall Library Service.

Cornwall has 28 libraries, and a cellular library service. 24 libraries have been devolved to city and parish councils, a neighborhood group and a social enterprise. Cornwall Council has retained 4 libraries and runs the cellular library service.
