Las Vegas casinos see gaming income surge regardless of summer season tourism hunch

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Despite a summer season hunch in vacationer numbers, Las Vegas casinos have reported a big improve in gaming income, offering a monetary cushion for Nevada.

In August, gaming income on the Strip rose by 5.5%, downtown by over 8%, and the Boulder Strip by practically 10%.
