Cougs End Sixth, Helm Ties for Eighth at Rainbow Wahine Invitational

LIHU’E, Kua’i (October 22, 2025) – Washington State Women’s Golf used a formidable remaining spherical to climb three spots and end sixth on the 29^th Rainbow Wahine Invitational performed on the Ocean Course at Hokuala Wednesday.
 
The Cougars tied for the third-best group rating (-3) throughout Wednesday’s remaining spherical to complete the match sixth at ten-over, forward of San Diego State, Kansas, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Boise State, Hawaii and Nevada. WSU completed simply two strokes behind fifth-place BYU whereas No. 25 Baylor gained the occasion at 13-under.
 
Freshman Kaitlyn Helm led the way in which for Washington State, carding 4 birdies in her final-round 70 to maneuver up two spots and tie for eighth at three-under. It is the Phoenix native’s second Top-10 of the season after tying for third on the Badger Invitational in September and third straight Top-15 end after tying for thirteenth at The Blessings Collegiate two weeks in the past.
 
Sophomore Agnes Brink used 5 birdies and posted a front-nine 34 en path to a final-round 70, matching her career-best spherical. Brink moved up 20 spots and completed tied for 29^th at four-over. Senior Hannah Harrison closed her match with back-to-back rounds of 74 to tie for 62^nd with sophomore Grace Rubelsky who opened the week with rounds of 74 within the first and second rounds. Freshman Anya Cedo closed her first collegiate match with 5 birdies to card a one-under spherical of 71.
 
WSU will not return to the course till February, opening the spring season with the Mountain Classic Matchup in Palm Desert, Calif.
 
The Course and Tournament Format
The match was performed on the Ocean Course at Hokuala.
 
The course performed as a par-72 at 6,039 yards.

Teams performed 18 holes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
