Merrimack Swim and Dive Begins the Season in Tri-Meet In opposition to Stonehill and Sacred Heart

BROCKTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College Swimming and Diving group competed in a tri-meet in opposition to Sacred Heart and Stonehill on Sunday at Massasoit Community College. The Warriors and Stonehill went right down to the ultimate relay, and the Skyhawks outtouched Merrimack by lower than a half second, to take a 147-140 win.

● Julia Tejeda completed 1st within the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 11:11.17.

 ● Casey Bednarek got here in fifth place within the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of two:02.57.

● Kendra Daily positioned 2nd within the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:00.45.

● Camila De La Rosa positioned 4th within the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:11.15.

● Casey Bednarek completed 4th within the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of two:21.70.

● Kendra Daily got here 2nd place within the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.96.

● Keely Harney positioned fifth within the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 57.49.

● Julia Tejeda completed fifth within the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of two:15.62 and Brook Malvey completed sixth with a time of two:15.78

● Camila De La Rosa got here in 4th within the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of two:34.05 and Sami Guadagnino got here in fifth with a time of two:37.54.

● Neva Sa completed 1st within the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:26.14.

● Cameron Zuliani positioned 2 nd within the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:01.09 and Abby Condon positioned fifth with a time of 1:01.85.

● The Merrimack College ‘A’ group, which consisted of Ally Jacques, Keeley Harney, Cameron Zuliani, and Kendra Daily, got here 2nd within the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:41.51 and the ‘B’ group, which consisted of Maddie McAloon, Liz Vursta, Kobi Wong, and Abby Condon, got here 4th with a time of 1:43.99.
