Swimming & Diving Squads Garner CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Recognition

DETROIT — The Wayne State University males’s and girls’s swimming & diving groups each obtained Scholar All-America honors for the Fall time period as decided by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The Warrior girls’s group had a 3.71 GPA and the lads’s squad carried a 3.34.  That girls’s output was the second-highest mark of any feminine group with no less than 23 student-athletes whereas the lads’s manufacturing ranked twenty fourth nationally.

The Scholar All-America designation consists of collegiate swimming and diving applications nationwide from NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III, in addition to NAIA and junior school and group school establishments, underscoring the broad tutorial affect of the game throughout all ranges of competitors

In whole, 16,421 student-athletes representing 709 groups earned Scholar All-America recognition for his or her excellent tutorial efficiency.  To qualify, every group was required to publish a group cumulative grade level common of three.00 or greater throughout the Fall 2025 semester, reflecting a sustained dedication to tutorial excellence alongside aggressive achievement.

“The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional,” stated Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA.  “These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement.”
