The 2026 Wildlife Photographer of the Year has named its People’s Choice winner, chosen from greater than 60,000 entries and voted for by the general public.

A younger lynx tossing a rodent into the air earlier than killing and consuming it in Ciudad Real, Spain, was chosen because the winner from 24 shortlisted photos.

A panel of judges selected the shortlist, along with the successful photographs introduced in October.
