Hokies place eleventh at NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships

ATLANTA– The NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships got here to a detailed Saturday evening, with the Hokies ending eleventh as a group. The end was marked by three First Team All-American honors, 19 Honorable Mention All-Americans honors and 5 faculty data. 

Brendan Whitfield had an excellent efficiency as he posted a person faculty report within the 200 free (1:31.49), and was a part of three relay faculty data. His efficiency earned him First Team All-American honors within the 50 free (18.66) and 100 free (41.22), and Honorable Mention All-American honors within the 200 free (1:31.49). 

Eli Martin had a standout efficiency as effectively, logging First Team All-American honors for his 200 breast swim (1:52.04).
