MADISON, Wis. — Four Wisconsin girls’s swim and dive student-athletes have earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team®, the group introduced Tuesday afternoon. 

Seniors Abby Wanezek and Blair Stoneburg, and juniors Hailey Tierney and Ryane Neal are representing the Badgers.   

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators, acknowledge the nation’s high student-athletes for his or her mixed performances within the pool and classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program individually acknowledges honorees in 4 divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. 

Wanezek, Stoneburg and Tierney are chosen as CSC Academic All-America® finalists, and are denoted with an asterisk and can advance to the nationwide poll to be voted on by CSC members. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will probably be introduced on Tuesday, April 28. 

 

**Abby Wanezek – Senior, Kinesiology

  • NCAAs: Competed in seven occasions – 100 free, 200 free, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, 400 medley relay, 800 free relay 

  • Big Tens: eleventh in 200 free – 1:44.84, 14th in 100 free – 48.80, twenty third in 50 free – 22.55

  • Competed in 10 meets

  • Academic All-Big Ten

 

**Hailey Tierney – Junior, Biology

  • NCAAs: Competed in 4 occasions – 50 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 400 medley relay

  • Big Tens: 18th in 100 fly – 52.57, seventeenth in 50 free – 22.24    

  • Competed in 10 meets

  • Academic All-Big Ten

 

**Blair Stoneburg – Senior, Civil Engineering

  • NCAAs: Competed in 5 occasions – 200 free, 500 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay

  • Big Tens: Sixth within the 500 free – 4:42.18, Eighth within the 200 free – 1:46.16, tenth within the 1650 free – 16:16.44

  • Competed in 10 meets

  • Academic All-Big Ten

 

Ryane Neal – Junior, Neurobiology & Psychology
